Cookie Policy

How Contraxly uses cookies and similar technologies on contraxly.com.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let the site recognise your browser across page loads, keep you signed in, and remember basic preferences. Contraxly uses cookies and similar technologies (local storage) only for the purposes described below.

Categories we use

  • Strictly necessary — your authentication session (NextAuth), CSRF token and a small payment-flow correlation ID. The site does not function without these. They expire when you sign out or after a maximum of 30 days.
  • Functional — UI preferences (e.g. last opened tool, editor settings). These improve your experience but the site works without them.
  • Analytics — Vercel Web Analytics records anonymous, aggregated page-view metrics. No personally identifying information is shared, no cross-site tracking, no advertising identifiers.

Third-party cookies

When you start a purchase, you are redirected to our secure hosted card-payment page. That page sets its own cookies on the gateway domain, strictly to process your 3-D Secure transaction. Contraxly never sees or stores your card number or CVC.

We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or third-party social-media tracking on the Contraxly domain.

Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Disabling the strictly-necessary cookies will sign you out and prevent purchases.

Most browsers also let you set a global “do not track” preference; we respect it by not loading optional analytics on those visits.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as features change. Material updates will be announced via an in-app banner. The “Last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
